Great effort on the trails guys. I routinely run to Richibouctou, and our trails are as good as they get, given the snow conditions. Last weekend, I came upon a small 4x4 stuck on our trail just outside Lakeside Estates. Four guys .It's a pitty they got pulled-out

Just a little write up concerning our annual Snowmobile trip. As you all know we left for Bathurst Friday morning then Saturday off to Miramichi. This year we were fortunate to have 3 new couples joining us for our trip, Tracy& Luanne, Eric and Janet and also Todd& Jackie. What a great bunch of people. We all got along very well and had fun. Eric was our official trip photographer, what a good job with the pictures. Poor Janet had a hard time enjoying her breakfast Sunday morning everyone was picking on her for eating so much, but she defended herself very well. She let them know she needed food just as much a snowmobile needs gas ha-ha. I still don't know what Emery told Jackie but she had a good laugh that ended up in tears. Alphee hade a surprise in his room Saturday night, being Valentine Day a trail of rose petals not snow led him to his bedroom, how romantic but Alphee taught is was a mess. Paula came up with a new drink called blueberry tea must give it a try next time. Other than having a few machines breaking down we all had fun and an enjoyable trip, no casualties and wonderful weather. HOPE we can recruit new members next year for our trip. Everyone is welcome. BYE for now.

Club Trip: Thanks to everyone that looked after booking our rooms, and a special thanks to Dennis for having the food all set up for us on Saturday night. It was a great time, seen new trails, had the chance to tow, and also had the chance to throw some snow on Alphee.

It is a shame that the golf course trail is lost but perhaps some good will come from this. As most are aware, the people cutting through the golf course have been doing it for years, long before we had a trail there. I would guess that most do NOT have a trail pass and are just driving around because it is a big open area to drive around on. If the owners do not see a decrease in this off trail activity, perhaps they will realize that our trail does NOT bring extra traffic to the out of bounds area of the golf course and actually encourages people to stay on the trail. One can only hope!!
