We just had our annual Steak Dinner this past weekend at the Sugar Camp in St.Marie. We would like to thank all of the sledders that were in and supported our club. A big Thank You also goes out to all of the volunteers that donated their time to help out and make this event a huge success once again this year.

Monday November 2nd/2009

I just got word from a fellow volunteer that the Caledonia warming shelter's roof has been repaired, the windows have been re-sealed and the interior walls have been painted. The fire wood is it and ready for another snowmobile season. Thanks to all of the volunteers that helped get the shelter ready.

There is also a new shelter being built off of the McLaughlin rd. It is not quite complete yet, but it is coming along pretty good.

We will be very busy over the next few weeks putting up the new signage as well as cutting brush,

If you have some time to donate before the snow flies, we would love to have you join us. Every little bit helps. Please send an E-mail to
contactus@moncton-stantoinesnowmobileclub.com.

Well we just got back from Hi-Tech's open house. What an awesome turnout for our local snowmobile clubs.

For those of you who did not know about this, the challenge was put out to 11 of the local snowmobile clubs to see who could get the most members to come into Hi-Tech today.

Well I am HAPPY to inform you that Moncton-St.Antoine was the top prize winner for having the most club members that showed up and filled out the ballot.

South Eastern Snowmobile Club won second prize and Grand Lake Snowmobile Club was 3rd.

Congratulations to all of the winning clubs!

Thank you to all of our members who were able to make it into Hi-Tech today! It was nice to see some old and new faces that we do not typically see at our meetings.

We would also like to say a big THANK YOU to all the staff at  Hi-Tech Powersports, Bombardier as well as all the other suppliers that donated money and prizes towards this event. Hats off to everyone involved in putting together an awesome event to get everyone in the snowmobiling mood.

For the second year in a row Bombardier has stepped up to the plate to try and give back to the local snowmobile clubs. This is easy money for our clubs. It does not matter what brand of sled you drive, as long as you are a member of a snowmobile club. If you know someone that is a member, but cannot make it in before November 15th, you can drop it off for them. So any family member or that buddy that is so brand loyal he would never set foot in another brands dealership  cannot make it in, you can still drop of their ballot under their name for the $10.00.  Click Here to fill out the ballot online, and then print it off.

As an added bonus if you can drop off your ballot at Hi-Tech on October 17th between
9:00AM and 3:00pm
this could be an even bigger payoff for our local clubs. You must also go to your clubs table and fill out a seperate form for this part of the contest! The prize pool has grown to about $2500.00 cash and there is also an 10'x12' warming hut up for grabs. It will also be a good day to mingle and get to know some other fellow members.

Hats of to Hi-Tech for putting together this awesome event. It is their way of giving back to the snowmobiling community. Thank You!

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER :  This is not about Hi-Tech or Ski-doo so it doesn’t matter what you ride, all are welcome! Simply walk in the door, drop off your ballot, fill out your form with your club representative and leave if you wish. There will be food, refreshments, music, door prizes, etc . if you wish to stay but absolutely no pressure. Again, this is all supporting your club.

The following is a copy of Lana from Hi-Tech's E-mail.

Hey Guys/Gals,

Our "Annual Ski-doo Open House" is just around the corner...October 17th to be exact, Saturday 9am-3pm.

This year it is going to be huge !   Check this out....

Last year, our manufacturer, BRP, ran a nationwide program called the “$1 million Club Support Program” whereby club members had the opportunity to put Bombardier’s money into their own club just by filling out a coupon and dropping it off at a Ski-Doo dealer! Well it is back again this year and we want to make sure that the local clubs take full advantage of this.

Here's how it works. In a nutshell, club members (you people)  complete a coupon available on www.skidoo.comor in targeted direct mailers, or also can be found in some snowmobile magazines and bring that coupon to our Ski-Doo Open House Event on October 17th,  and BANG! ….Bombardier just donated $10 to your club. ….do the math….this could be huge for your club. Well, it gets better….

Hi-Tech PowerSports has decided to make this an even bigger opportunity for the local snowmobile clubs. We are inviting 13 of the snowmobile club presidentand their members in our area to our Ski-Doo Open House and will host a contest for them. The Snowmobile Club that brings the most registered members to our Ski-Doo Open House will win a minimum $1000 donation from Hi-Tech PowerSports. Now, don’t forget, if every member brings in their coupon for the $1 Million Club Support Program  on the day of our open house, then your club will get $10 per coupon from BRP….well add another $1000 to that if you win the Hi-Tech contest. Again, this is a tremendous opportunity for your club to walk away with some serious money to help in keeping the trails well groomed for all of you snowmobile enthusiasts !!

Tell your friends, relatives, any snowmobilers you know....it doesn't matter what brand they ride , no matter the brand,  they just have to be a registered member of a snowmobile club to swing by and drop off their coupon. So come out and support your local snowmobile club !!

Hope to see you all here !!

Cheers,

Lana
